About the event

Skateable sculptures are created to provide an opportunity for skateboarders to express their creativity  in a unique and engaging way. Skateboarding is a form of urban art that has been popular for decades, and skateable sculptures provide skateboarders with a new canvas on which to express themselves.

Skateable sculptures also serve as a way to promote skateboarding culture and increase its visibility in public spaces. By creating sculptures that are designed to be skated on, artists and designers can create a connection between the skateboarding community and the larger public, helping to break down stereotypes.

Skateable sculptures can provide a new way to approach urban design and city planning. Instead of viewing public spaces as purely functional, designers can integrate artistic and playful elements that encourage people to interact with their surroundings in new and exciting ways. Skateable sculptures are a way to turn an otherwise ordinary public space into an engaging and dynamic environment.

With the help of Dan Michalik Studios we are offering students to build a concept out of clay(just one obstacle)
